Working with the San Francisco Exploratorium’s “Science Snacks” initiative, this project translates three at-home botanical dissections into an exploratory visual framework centered on interiority. Each activity focuses on the dissection of a different specimen—flower, fruit, and seed—encouraging participants to engage in tactile investigation. A visual language derived from X-ray imaging highlights internal structures, shifting attention from surface appearance to underlying form. The typographic system supports this approach, drawing from instructional and scientific conventions while incorporating moments of layering, transparency, and sectional framing to echo the act of looking inside.
