Tomorrow & Tomorrow & Tomorrow is a title sequence motion piece based on the book Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, reimagined as an opening for a conceptual TV adaptation. The project translates the story’s relationship with video games into a motion system rooted in early digital aesthetics.
Using Cavalry, I developed particle-based simulations that reference 1980s video game visuals. These particles act as both texture and structure, gradually forming the letterforms of the title as the sequence unfolds. The animation is designed to reveal information through motion, with a slow zoom-out that transitions from abstraction to legibility.
The visual language leans into low-resolution, game-like rendering to reflect the era and medium central to the narrative. Paired with a score from TRON: Legacy (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) by Daft Punk, the sequence builds a cohesive audiovisual tone, positioning the piece as a stylized, game-informed interpretation of the book’s world.
