All These Feelings maps the invisible architecture of human attachment through data and design. Drawing on anonymous responses from 153 participants across the globe, Ana Vallejo transforms intimate reflections on romantic relationships into a nonlinear, poetic exploration of relational anxiety and avoidance.
Working with data scientist Andrew Hill, Vallejo created a survey pairing personal narrative with Kim Bartholomew's attachment-style quadrants: secure, anxious, ambivalent, and avoidant. Each participant received a score plotting their emotional landscape within this psychological model.
The book's design translates data into visual form. Each participant's entry begins at their scored position on Bartholomew's attachment grid, creating a typographic map of emotional experience. The cover evokes the data through an array of emotion words in shifting colors—a visual echo of feelings as constantly evolving states.
