This is the greeting card I designed for my studio GRAINE DE PAPIER in January 2026. It explores design as an experience rather than a static object. Conceived as an interactive typographic piece, it invites the recipient to engage physically with what they read and see.
The card is composed of 2 transparent sheets, each printed with graphic shapes. When correctly overlaid, these shapes align to form typographic characters, revealing a readable message. In this way, the solution lies in interaction: meaning only emerges through alignment and handling.
Form and content are therefore inseparable, and reading becomes an active process of discovery.
This year’s greeting extends beyond the printed medium into an experiential dimension, where handling becomes part of reading. The act of manipulating the card activates perception, shifting the viewer from observation to participation.
A subtle instruction embedded in the design guides this experience: “to reveal what escapes us, Graine de papier invites us to make the lines move.” This phrase operates both literally and metaphorically, referring to the physical alignment of forms as well as the possibility of shifting perspectives.
More than a message, this piece is an experience of design : an invitation to question, to explore, to test, to adjust, until alignment emerges. It encourages a more active relationship with form, where thinking happens through the hands as much as through the mind.
By shifting perception and reframing how elements come together, this project echoes the way I work with design in a broader context: helping organizations translate complexity, reveal what remains unseen, and adjust the parameters that shape their communication from within.
Ultimately, it is an invitation to move beyond the status quo: a gesture of care toward human relationships and the possibility of opening new perspectives in uncertain contexts.
The final message revealed through the interaction reads: “FAIRE GRANDIR CE QUI NOUS RELIE” which means “TO GROW WHAT CONNECTS US.”
